Total area in hectares that has an approved management plan for the native forest. A Management Plan is an instrument that, meeting the requirements established in this legal body, plans the management of the ecological patrimony or the sustainable use of the forest resources of a determined land, safeguards the quality of the waters, and avoids the deterioration of the soils. It is considered a conservation management plan when its fundamental objective is to protect biological diversity, ensuring the maintenance of the conditions that make possible the evolution and development of the species and ecosystems contained in the area that is the object of the plan. It is considered a forest management plan when its objective is to take advantage of the native forest to obtain wood and non-wood goods while taking into consideration the multifunctionality of the forests and the biological diversity.
