Abstract
AbstractTotal surface area in hectares that has an approved management plan for native forests. A management plan is understood to be the instrument that, meeting the requirements established in this legal body, plans the management of the ecological heritage or the sustainable use of forest resources on a given piece of land, safeguarding the quality of the waters and avoiding soil deterioration. It will be a preservation management plan when its fundamental objective is to safeguard biological diversity, ensuring the maintenance of the conditions that make possible the evolution and development of the species and ecosystems contained in the area of ??its action. It will be a forest management plan when its objective is the use of native forests to obtain timber and non-timber goods, considering the multifunctionality of forests and biological diversity.
