Total number of water use rights granted by the DGA, in running or standing surface water, whether consumptive or non-consumptive. Non-consumptive rights enable the use of water without consuming it, and they oblige the restitution of water in the same quality, quantity, and time frame (for example: electricity generation, fish farming, etc.). Consumptive rights are oriented to the total consumption of water in any activity (for example: irrigation, drinking water, animal watering, among others).
