The total number of projects that submit an Environmental Impact Statement (DIA) to the Environmental Impact Assessment System (SEIA). Projects are disaggregated regionally and according to the productive sector of the project that is entered into the system. It is important to note that the owner of a project or activity that submits documentation to the SEIA does so by submitting a DIA, unless said project generates or presents any of the effects, characteristics, or circumstances found in article 11 of the Law on Environmental Bases (significant impacts), in which case an Environmental Impact Study (EIA) must be submitted.
