Formal companies that employ five or more workers. The companies must have registered their initiation of independent activities (i.e., they must have a tax identification number (RUT)), have their own accounting, and carry out their activities within the borders of the country. Some companies are excluded because of their economic sector or class.
Economic sectors classified according to CIIU4.CL 2012 except for the following sectors: Agriculture, forestry, and fishing (A), Other Service Activities (S), Activities of households as employers (T), and Activities of extraterritorial organizations and bodies (U); and the following classes: Defense activities ((O) 8422) and Public order and safety activities ((O) 8423).
