Total area of agricultural land under this type of irrigation. Micronutrient irrigation uses localized irrigation equipment to supply water and fertilizers to the plants in a targeted manner. The water is conducted to each plant through a network of pipes and delivered by different emitters (drippers, diffusers, tapes, microjet, micro-sprinkler). The water is distributed in the soil, forming a moisture zone whose shape and size depends on the type of soil, the flow rate of the emitter, and the irrigation time. It is expressed in hectares (Source: National Irrigation Commission).
