Abstract
AbstractTotal area of agricultural land under this type of irrigation. Major mechanical irrigation methods, also known as pressurized irrigation, are those in which water is conducted through closed systems where the water is subjected to pressures greater than those of the atmosphere. The pressure is normally through pumping systems or through taking advantage of the difference in elevation between the point of water collection and the point to be irrigated. It is expressed in hectares (Source: National Irrigation Commission).
