Abstract
AbstractEvaporation is a physical process in which water changes from the liquid state (found in watercourses, lagoons and in the most superficial layers of the soil) to gas, returning to the atmosphere in the form of vapor. Hydrologically, evaporation can be defined as the net rate of transport of water vapor to the atmosphere.
