Abstract
AbstractThe concentration of CO at the 99th percentile for each monitoring station with population representativity for gases (EMRPG). The concentration values (ppmv or mg/m3N) for a calendar year of measurement, will be arranged by increasing magnitude in a list in order to identify the accumulated concentration at 99%. The primary air quality standard for the eight-hour concentration of carbon monoxide shall be considered excessive when the arithmetic mean of three successive years of the 99th percentile of the daily maximum eight-hour concentration recorded during a calendar year in any EMRPG monitoring station is greater than or equal to 9 ppmv. The concentration of one hour shall be considered excessive when the arithmetic mean of three successive years of the 99th percentile of the daily maximum concentrations of one hour recorded during a calendar year at any EMRPG monitoring station is greater than or equal to 26 ppmv.
